Relaxed Locally Correctable Codes

Revisions: 1

Locally decodable codes (LDCs) and locally correctable codes (LCCs) are error-correcting codes in which individual bits of the message and codeword, respectively, can be recovered by querying only few bits from a noisy codeword. These codes have found numerous applications both in theory and in practice.

On small-depth Frege proofs for Tseitin for grids

Revisions: 1

We prove that a small-depth Frege refutation of the Tseitin contradiction
on the grid requires subexponential size.
We conclude that polynomial size Frege refutations
of the Tseitin contradiction must use formulas of almost
logarithmic depth.

A Family of Dictatorship Tests with Perfect Completeness for 2-to-2 Label Cover

We give a family of dictatorship tests with perfect completeness and low-soundness for 2-to-2 constraints. The associated 2-to-2 conjecture has been the basis of some previous inapproximability results with perfect completeness. However, evidence towards the conjecture in the form of integrality gaps even against weak semidefinite programs has been elusive. ... more >>>
